Pre and Post Activities

Many of you will be coming from a long way away and will want to make an entire vacation out of it, coming early and/or staying late. We will have some suggestions here of things to do and places to see.

First and foremost are the proximity of many of the National Parks such as Yellowstone, Glacier-Banff-Jasper, the Olympic Peninsula, Craters of the Moon, and even many of the Canyon lands in Utah. Distances and traveling times will be listed below soon.

A great activity for those wanting a real "wild west" experience one of the top ten rodeos in the US will be happening July 17-21, 2007. That start date is the end date of our convention. It is called the Snake River Stampede and is located just 20 miles from the convention site. There are all sorts of activities associated with it besides the standard bronco bustin' and wild bull ridin'.
